In January 2016, the Ministry of Mines and Steel Development in Nigeria reached out to the UK government for help in coordinating the development of a policy to revive the solid mineral sector and drive sector reforms. An Embedded Adviser was engaged to provide the support required. This story of change describes the positive results achieved following the engagement of the adviser, including the development and launch of a ‘Road Map for the Growth and Development of Nigerian Mining Industry’.
